AISCO aluminium technologies are now united under the Outotec brand.
Our shotblasting systems are designed to remove the thin layer of cover bath from the surface of the butts which remains after cleaning in the primary bath removal equipment. In addition to removing the remaining bath, our shotblast machines are designed to remove a thin layer of carbon from the butt’s surface as this carbon is detrimental to the production of new anodes.
The Shotblast System is designed to efficiently clean the spent anodes while minimizing shot losses from the system, thereby reducing the overall operating expense of the equipment. Our years of experience in designing and building shotblast machines specific for the aluminium industry have lead to many design improvements over standard shot blast equipment design.
